Despite losing face since last year's cover, Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan, plus center Todd McClure*, holds down SI's Southeast regional NFL preview cover for the second straight year. Ryan has now tied Michael Vick and Deion Sanders for the most SI covers as a Falcon (though Deion also appeared on one as a Brave during his Falcons career):

Last year Ice shared the spotlight with Aaron Rodgers, Ben Roethlisberger, and Tony Romo. This year Ryan's contemporaries Mark Sanchez, Drew Brees, Philip Rivers, and Rodgers were sent to their various regions, along with their respective centers.
