The Chicago Bears will host the Green Bay Packers in the 2011 NFC Championship Game at Soldier Field. If only the Atlanta Falcons could've drawn the Seattle Seahawks, the worst NFL playoff team ever, instead of the Packers, who look like the NFC's best team, this game would be played at the Georgia Dome.
These two old-time rivals, who've played more than 100 times, split their season series this time around, with both games won by the home team and separated by only a single score.
The Packers will almost certainly be road favorites, having been only two-point underdogs against Atlanta, a team with a better home field advantage than Chicago (and, you know, a better record period). Lack of confidence in the wildly inconsistent Jay Cutler, plus awe at the postseason monster Aaron Rodgers has become, will make Chicago the underdog in their own house against a No. 6 seed.
Still, the Bears did only allow 24 points to Green Bay in two games this year and could've swept the Pack if a few balls had bounced differently. While nobody wants to see the Bears in the Super Bowl except Bears fans, this is still going to be a brawl.
