2011 NFL Combine: A.J. Green, Justin Houston, Anthony Allen Lead UGA And Georgia Tech Invites

The 2011 NFL Combine will feature an assortment of Peach State talent on both sides of the ball. The Athens Banner-Herald’s Marc Weiszer reports Georgia Bulldogs WR A.J. Green, DE/LB Justin Houston, OL Clint Boling, OT Josh Davis, DE/LB Demarcus Dobbs, LB Akeem Dent, FB Shaun Chapas, and CB Vance Cuff have been invited to represent the Dawgs, while the Macon Telegraph’s Coley Harvey has Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets RB Anthony Allen and DB Mario Butler so far.

The combine is scheduled to begin Feb. 23 in Indianapolis.

Notable exclusions: Georgia WR Kris Durham and LB Darryl Gamble, both of which have Bubba N Earl all worked up; the two ill-advised Tech early entrants, DB Jerrard Tarrant and OL Nick Claytor; and Tech LB Brad Jefferson.

Cuff isn’t exactly a hot draft prospect, but his 40 yard dash time will be something to keep an eye on. He reportedly turned in the fastest time in Georgia football history this summer.
