Duke moves up to No. 3 in this week's AP Top 25 Basketball poll after many upsets shook up the top five in the rankings. Kansas dropped to No. 6 after losing to Texas while Syracuse dropped all the way to No. 10 after falling to Villanova at the Carrier Dome. Ohio State captured 63 of the 65 first place votes to remain at No. 1 while Pittsburgh checks in at No. 2 with one first place vote. The Blue Devils are No. 3 and undefeated San Diego State moves into the No. 4 position. UConn rounds out this weeks top five at No. 5.
The ACC has two representatives in this week's rankings as Florida State crashes the party at No. 22. Virginia Tech also received votes.
On the SEC side, Kentucky drops two spots to No. 14 after its upset loss at Alabama. Vanderbilt moves back into the rankings at No. 19 after their road victory over Saint Mary's. Florida makes the list at No. 24 as they prepare for their showdown with Georgia on Tuesday. Georgia and Tennessee also received votes.
