↵Orange Bowl: Virginia Tech Hokies vs. Stanford Cardinal, 8:30, ESPN: The ACC can clinch a winning bowl season record, get a rare BCS game win, finish with a top-10 team, and atone for part of its worst loss of the season -- VPI's loss to James Madison, of course. At some point in 2011 it might be OK to talk about Virginia Tech without mentioning Jimmy Mad, but not yet.
↵Stanford is a -3.5 favorite by this point, largely due to their status as a non-ACC team. They've traveled farther and will have fewer fans in the house, for whatever those factors are worth. ESPN's been selling the quarterback battle between Tyrod Taylor and Andrew Luck as a matchup of contrasting styles, but both of them like to run around a lot.
