Top Coaches In Atlanta Sports - Thrashers Coach Craig Ramsay is Number Two

I honestly don’t watch enough of the other Atlanta sports teams to fight with Mr. Jeff Schultz about the rankings – I’m not a Braves fan and I really don’t care too much about basketball and football (shocking, I realize). But after years of the coaches of the Thrashers not even warranting mention on his top coaches lists, seeing coach Craig Ramsay sitting at number two is pretty swell.

After Falcons coach Mike Smith, Ramsay has one of the best winning percentages in Atlanta sports, and he’s doing it with probably one and a half players who people that don’t watch hockey know – Dustin Byfuglien and “that guy who knocked that other guy out with a punch.”

Also, as an addendum, the Hockey World Junior Championships are going on right now, and tonight’s the big game between Canada and the United States. Puck drop is at 7:30 on the NHL Network for those of you who either aren’t aware there’s a bowl game tonight or who prefer chillier sports.
