ACC College Basketball Schedule: North Carolina-Virginia, Florida State-Virginia Tech, Maryland-Duke

Notable games from the ACC this week. All times EST. 

North Carolina Tar Heels vs Virginia Cavaliers, 12:00pm Saturday: North Carolina travels to Virginia to take on the Cavaliers in their ACC opener. The Tar Heels are 10-4 on the season and are riding a three game winning streak. Virginia will be looking for a 2-0 start in the ACC after defeating Virginia Tech 57-54 way back on December 5th. 

Florida State Seminoles vs Virginia Tech Hokies, 3:00pm Saturday, ESPN2: Florida State will be looking for a 2-0 start to its conference season when it travels to Blacksburg this Saturday to take on the Hokies. The Seminoles have won six of seven and will wrap up their non conference season on January 3rd against Auburn. After a three game losing streak, Virginia Tech has righted itself and currently has a five game winning streak going into Saturday's match up with the Seminoles. 

Maryland Terrapins vs No.1 Duke Blue Devils 8:00pm Sunday: Gary Williams Maryland Terrapins travel to Cameron Indoor where they will take on No.1 Duke. The Terrapins have a 9-4 record and will wrap up their non conference slate on Tuesday with a game against Colgate. Duke remains undefeated and is the unanimous No. 1 team in the country in both the AP Top 25 and the USA TODAY/ESPN Coaches Poll.
