Among the high school stars who accepted invitations to the 2011 US Army All American Bowl, six are from the Peach State, including the state's top two players. That's the East's largest share other than Florida, while the West's roster is dominated by Texas and California. Keep your eye on East's defense, as all six Georgia players who will be playing in Saturday night's game are defenders.
↵The game will be played at 1 pm ET, Jan. 8, on NBC.
↵The list: East Hill DL Sterling Bailey, Thomas County Central DL Ray Drew, Griffin DB Corey Moore, Grady DB Damian Swann, Monroe Area DL Stephen Tuitt, and Eagle's Landing Christian Academy DB Avery Walls.
↵Bailey and Moore are both four-star Georgia Bulldogs commits, perhaps the best players in the Dawgs class yet. The Dawgs are also in the running for Drew, the state's No. 2 player according to Rivals. He's also considering LSU, Michigan, Auburn, and Clemson. Walls is a Cal commit, and Swann, Atlanta's top player, is likely headed out of state, though his only visit was to Georgia.
↵Four-star Tuitt is the nation's No. 2 defensive end and the state's No. 1 prospect. He's committed to join the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, though the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets finished second ahead of LSU and Auburn. However, he's taking a visit to Tech on Jan. 14, so the Jackets could still have a shot. He's said a school would have to "sweep him off his feet" to move ahead of Notre Dame, but the possibility is very much on the table.
