Georgia Bulldogs Vs. No. 11 Kentucky Wildcats: The SEC Opener

After a week off, Georgia Basketball returns to the hardwood at Stegeman today to face their biggest challenge of the season thus far. The No. 11 ranked Kentucky Wildcats visit Athens for the SEC conference opener for both clubs. The Bulldogs are riding an eight game winning streak and are 11-2 overall. They are a perfect 7-0 at home but haven't faced a team the caliber of Kentucky at home yet this season.

The Wildcats come into the game ranked eleventh and 12-2 overall. However, their lone two losses both came away from Rupp arena. They are led by freshman inside and outside combination of Brandon Knight and Terrence Jones. Both will prove to be a handful for Georgia.

Kentucky leads the all time series by a wide margin of 112-24, however seven of those Georgia wins have come in the past nine years. Georgia swept the Wildcats in 2002 and again in 2004.
