NCAA Basketball Standings: Florida Takes Its Turn Atop The SEC, Duke Still Holds ACC Lead

A four game winning streak has Billy Donovan's Florida Gators positioned atop the SEC standings. Georgia has climbed into a tie for second in the SEC East thanks to a three game conference winning streak. The road gets difficult for the Dogs this week with match-ups against Vanderbilt on Wednesday and Tennessee in Knoxville on Saturday. Alabama has a three game cushion in the SEC Western division and is trying to pile up wins in order to strengthen its NCAA Tournament chances.

On the ACC side of things, Duke has won four straight games while currently holding a game and a half advantage over North Carolina. Both the Tar Heels and Florida State are close behind the Blue Devils but the Seminoles will be without leading scorer Chris Singleton who suffered a foot injury this past Saturday. Virginia Tech, Clemson, Boston College, and Maryland are battling it out for what could be one or two spots in the NCAA Tournament. Georgia Tech takes a five game losing streak into Wednesday's non conference match up with Chattanooga.
