It was a turbulent week for the top four teams in last week's AP Top 25 Poll. Last week's top four teams, Kansas, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, and Texas, all lost, enabling Duke to ascend to the top spot in this week's AP Top 25 Basketball Poll. The Blue Devils are followed by Ohio State, Kansas, Pittsburgh, and Texas rounding out the top five.
Florida leads three ranked SEC teams at No. 13. Vanderbilt checks in at No. 18 while Kentucky is holding on at No. 22. SEC West leading Alabama is not ranked but did receive votes.
In addition to the No. 1 Blue Devils, North Carolina is ranked No. 19 representing the ACC. Florida State is also unranked but did receive votes in the poll.
