Braves Vs. Mets: Spring Training Opening Game In Port St. Lucie

The Atlanta Braves begin spring game action against the New York Mets at 1:10 pm ET today, with Jair Jurrjens getting the start for the Braves. This is Fredi Gonzalez' first game as Braves skipper, and Freddie Freeman gets the start from day one, batting No. 6. Here's the rest of the lineup for the first competitive Braves action since October:

2. Nate McLouth, CF
3. Jason Heyward, RF
4. Brian McCann, C
5. Eric Hinske, LF
6. Freddie Freeman, 1B
7. Brooks Conrad, 2B
8. Brandon Hicks, 3B

Chipper Jones is expected to take the field soon, but won't be ready for today's game. Jurrjens will be followed by Eric O'Flaherty, Jonny VentersCraig KimbrelCristhian MartinezAnthony Varvaro, and Stephen Marekaccording to Talking Chop.
