Women's NCAA Bracket 2011 Selection Show Schedule: Georgia Tech, Georgia Aim For High Seeds

Monday night is 2011 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament selection night, with the 64-team bracket unveiled live on ESPN at 7 pm ET. According to bracketologist Charlie Creme, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and Georgia Bulldogs both stand to earn high seeds, the Jackets as a No. 5 seed and the Lady Dogs as a No. 7.

Georgia Tech finished No. 5 in an ACC much deeper than its men's counterpart and are ranked No. 24 in the latest AP top 25. A season sweep of North Carolina and four conference road wins are their primary claims to fame.

Georgia has dropped four of its last five, including a pair to Tennessee, but scored impressive back-to-back road wins against Kentucky and Arkansas earlier in SEC play. They finished third in the conference.

The Big East is expected to dominate proceedings just as it did yesterday, though the ACC should fare much better. The SEC is projected to send five teams.
