Pistons Vs. Hawks Score: Hawks Lead 79-74 Through Three Quarters

The Atlanta Hawks are playing a complete inside-out game on Sunday afternoon. Thus, it comes as no surprise that they have opened up a bit of separation against the lowly Detroit Pistons.

Joe Johnson posted 15 points and Marvin Williams added 13 to lead the Hawks to a 79-74 lead through three quarters at Philips Arena.

Chris Wilcox has 16 and Rodney Stuckey netted 15 for the Pistons, who just can't keep up with the Hawks.

The Hawks are shooting 56-percent (30-for-54) from the field and have assists on 20 of those buckets. They also hold a 27-25 edge on the glass and are winning what seems like a ho-hum game at the Bulb.

Zaza Pachulia has not played much since posting 11 points on 7-for-8 shooting from the charity stripe in the second quarter. He returned late in the third quarter.

Josh Smith has 12 Al Horford is flirting with a triple-double with 11 points, six boards and six assists.

Coach Larry Drew said that we should be seeing more of Atlanta's regular starting lineup of Kirk Hinrich, Johnson, Horford, Williams and Smith for the rest of the season.
