Lynyrd Skynyrd To Perform Pre-Race Concert At Atlanta Motor Speedway On September 4

Southern Rock fans, Hampton is now the place to be Labor Day Weekend for more reasons than just three days of great racing at the Atlanta Motor Speedway.


Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Lynyrd Skynyrd will perform pre-race concert this September 4, ahead of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Emory Healthcare 500. Get all the information in the press release on the Atlanta Motor Speedway's site.


Skynyrd is no rookie when it comes to NASCAR, having appeared on the licensed album "NASCAR: Hotter than Asphalt" in the mid-1990s as well as having their signature song, "Sweet Home Alabama," featured prominently in EA Sports' "NASCAR Thunder 2002."


The show, titled "Fast Cars & Guitars," will take place prior to driver introductions on the frontstretch. Stagefront passes, priced at $59 apiece, will give fans a great view of the Skynyrd concert as well as an up-close look at their heroes during driver introductions. Tickets for the Emory Healthcare 500 start at just $39.
