Spurs At Hawks Score: Tony Parker Helps San Antonio Take 66-65 Lead Through Three

Tony Parker went to work in the third quarter. He scored 10 points in the frame as the San Antonio Spurs took the lead.

Parker has 18 points and Tim Duncan 16 to help the Spurs to a 66-65 lead through three quarters at Philips Arena.

San Antonio used a 12-4 run before the half to cut an 11-point lead down to three at the break before Parker and the Spurs chipped away and chipped away until they established a modest cushion. The Spurs are winning despite having difficulties from behind the three-point line. The NBA's most proficient team from behind the arc has made just 1-of-7 from beyond the 3-point line in the first 36 minutes of this one.

The Hawks seemed a little bit lethargic to start the second half, but have since gotten back into the flow of things.

Jamal Crawford has 18 points off the bench for Atlanta on 7-for-10 shooting from the field. Crawford is also 3-for-4 from behind the arc in this one. The rest of the team has not connected from behind the arc in five tries.

Joe Johnson and Al Horford have 12 points each for the Hawks, who can secure the No. 5 seed in the East with a win.
