During the 2010 Daytona 500, Coca-Cola debuted what has become one of the most popular NASCAR-themed ads in recent years. Reviving the popular “I’d Like To Teach The World To Sing” tune from the famous “Hilltop” ad of the 1970s, the spot featured the Coca-Cola Racing Family joining together to sing the tune in the midst of a race.
↵Fans who visit the Coca-Cola Racing Family site for information on their favorite Coke drivers and other aspects of NASCAR’s relationship with the Atlanta-based company are greeted by this year’s lineup of drivers. When they hover their mouse over a particular driver, he will start to sing. The process can be repeated until any combination of the Coke Racing Family or the entire lineup itself are singing the song.
