Jeff Teague Part Of Today Show's Wake Forest Sexual Assault Story, According To Report

On Thursday, the Today Show will feature a former Wake Forest student who will accuse a former Wake Forest Demon Deacons basketball player of sexual assault, according to a report by our own Blogger So DearThe Winson-Salem Journal is reporting Atlanta Hawks point guard Jeff Teague has a role in the story, though he isn't the one being accused of assault. No charges were ever filed against Teague or anyone else in the matter.

According to the report, Teague stood outside a Miami hotel room while teammate Gary Clark coerced the female student into giving him oral sex. She reportedly resisted but felt she had no choice in the matter, and says Teague led her into the room after she told him she had feelings for him. She claimed Teague then closed the door after she entered a bathroom with Clark, then kissed her on the neck after she exited.

Charges were never filed due to lack of evidence or witnesses, Clark's denial and the multiple days that passed between the reported incident and the student's allegations.

If this event happened as alleged, Hawks fans can only hope Teague never had any role in it.
