Kevin Ware Lists UGA Basketball Among Louisville, Others As Favored Destinations

Former Tennessee signee and Central Florida commit tweeted out his short list of schools he is considering Tuesday night and Mark Fox's Georgia Bulldogs made the list. Those schools are, in no particular order, Kansas State, Kansas, Georgia, UCLA, and Louisville. It is unknown if any of those schools on that list still have interest in Ware.

It has been a bizarre month for Ware and his recruitment.  Ware originally signed at Tennessee but asked for and obtained his release after Bruce Pearl was fired. Ware then opened up his recruitment again and chose Central Florida over both Georgia and Louisville. Ware reneged on Central Florida last week in the wake of improper recruiting allegations involving a convicted felon with agent ties.

The 6-foot-4 guard from Rockdale County High School told the AJC last week that Louisville and Georgia were his top two choices but that he had to talk to the coaching staffs to make sure they were still interested.

"Louisville and Georgia are my [frontrunners]. I just have to talk to the coaches and see if they are still interested in me. I really don’t know where things stand."

Mark Fox has five players signed for his 2011 recruiting class at Georgia but has the room to add one more if he chooses to. Ware is ranked in the Top 100 by Rivals.com.
