We all know about the Braves' dominance over the Mets for the last two decades, but this article from Amazin Avenue, the Mets SB Nation site, give us all a great look into the rivalry from the other team's perspective. It's definitely worth a read.
The article touches on some of the most memorable moments in Braves/Mets history. Brian Jordan's game-winning grand slam in 2001, the Braves knocking the Mets out of the playoffs despite already having the NL East wrapped up, and Chipper Jones' series in which he practically defeated New York all by himself.
I don't despise the Mets as much as I used to in the late-90's and early-2000's. Jose Reyes and Francisco Rodriguez are still both a pain in the ass, but they've assembled a group of guys who are all pretty likable. The front office hired a solid General Manager is Sandy Alderson and the club should be back to battling for division titles in no time.
