2011 NCAA Baseball Super Regionals: South Carolina, Florida Lead Four SEC Teams

As the 2011 NCAA baseball tournament's Super Regionals round fills up, it's time to take a look at the Southeastern Conference's presence in the bracket's list of entrants. Though game-by-game schedules are still yet to be determined, the round will begin June 10, with three locations hosting SEC matchups.

The Florida Gators were the first team to reach the round, blasting the Miami Hurricanes and drawing the Mississippi St. Bulldogs, who gave the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets their third-straight ruined Atlanta Regional. That SEC-on-SEC best-of-three will go down in Gainesville.

The Vanderbilt Commodores cruised through the Nashville Regional, walloping the Belmont Bruins and winning each game by five or more runs. They'll meet the Oregon St. Beavers at home after OSU needed a power outage to put away the Georgia Bulldogs -- this is how we choose to represent the night's events, yes.

The latest team to make the cut: the South Carolina Gamecocks, last year's national champions, who continue their road to repeat in Columbia against either the Clemson Tigers or Connecticut Huskies. Carolina's guest will be decided at 7 pm ET Monday night. The Cocks put away the Stetson Hatters twice after struggling with the Georgia Southern Eagles early on.
