If you count Gulf Shores, Alabama as Florida or at least pretty-much Florida, Paul Johnson's 2012 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets recruiting class is shaping up to reflect his 2008 and 2010 Sunshine State-heavy classes. With Plant High School athlete Antonio Crawford committing late Friday, three of Tech's eight commits hail from Florida or, seriously, like inches away from it.
Plant is the same powerhouse Tampa school that produced Aaron Murray and Orson Charles. A three-star prospect who projects as a CB in Atlanta according to his high school coach, Crawford had offers from Ball State, Bowling Green, Florida International, Iowa State, Ohio and South Alabama. He'd also been eyed by Georgia, Alabama and others.
