Brian McCann Injury: Atlanta Braves Catcher Leaves Game With Back Injury

A day after the Atlanta Braves had a team that was as complete as it has been since Spring Training, their All-Star catcher, Brian McCann, left Tuesday night's game in the tenth inning with an apparent back injury. McCann also grabbed his upper hamstring in a previous inning while running to first base, though he was able to stay in the game.

No official word has been given on McCann's injury, but one would have to expect he would miss at least a game or two. He attempted to stay in the game after a meeting with coaches and Jeff Porter, the team's athletic trainer, but exited after taking one warmup throw.

David Ross came into the game to replace McCann.
