The Atlanta Falcons continue to augment their roster with undrafted free agents. The latest addition is durable Florida State center Ryan McMahon according to the Orlando Sentinel's Coley Harvey, who cited the player's agent. McMahon comes from Savannah, Georgia and was a highly recruited defensive line prospect out of high school. He got his mind off the NFL Draft by going fishing near Savannah, matter of fact.
At FSU, two-time All-ACC McMahon posted the school record for consecutive starts and was a three-time candidate for the Rimington Award, which goes to the nation's top center. The Falcons are bringing a pair of centers into camp, with Stony Brook's Paul Fenaroli looking to be an obnoxious presence on the interior as well.
He also graduated early, something the Falcons prize highly, with a finance degree. Noles teammates thought pretty highly of him, twice presenting him an award for playing with heart. At FSU's pro day, he produced 31 225-pound bench press reps.
