Finally, Tyson Clabo Agrees To Falcons Terms, According To Report

Atlanta Falcons free agent RT Tyson Clabo will re-sign with the Falcons, according to Adam Schefter. Last we'd heard, we wouldn't find out one way or another until Friday, so this is a nice surprise. No financial terms yet -- hopefully it's nothing outrageous, but we're talking about a durable Pro Bowler here, so get ready to see a big number.

The bidding process for Clabo's services had been reportedly down to the Bills and Falcons for at least a day, with the common rumor being that Buffalo had made a sizable offer Atlanta could choose to match or not.

Falcons fans grew pretty impatient watching other teams make deals, but now that this one is out of the day, expect pieces to start falling into place. It wouldn't have made sense for the team to re-sign its other free agent offensive linemen, Harvey Dahl and Justin Blalock, without knowing whether its top priority would be coming back or not.

Hopefully Thomas Dimitroff and company had two plans drawn up for worlds with and without Clabo. Now that we know he's reportedly back for 2011 and beyond, it's time to see what plan A looks like.
