NFL Free Agency: Falcons Re-Signing Matt Bryant, According To Report

The Atlanta Falcons are still making progress on other matters while Tyson Clabo negotiations continue. Here's a significant one: Pat Yasinkas reports the team will re-sign veteran kicker Matt Bryant. That would mean longtime punter Michael Koenen is almost assuredly gone, with versatile rookie legman Matt Bosher moving to punter, I'd assume.

Bryant earned a reputation in 2010 and late 2009 as one of the league's most clutch kickers. Pretty happy to see this report. The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers kicker has drilled 85.4 percent of his field goals since joining Atlanta.

No word on financials or terms yet, but here's an updated look at the team's list of free agents, which shows one of three critical special teamers reportedly back on board:
