Harvey Dahl, Rams Agree On Free Agency Deal, According To Adam Schefter

Harvey Dahl has agreed to sign a four-year deal with the St. Louis Rams, Adam Schefter reported Friday. It had been assumed the Atlanta Falcons would only be able to keep one or two of their free agent offensive linemen. With Dahl reportedly gone, this could mean Justin Blalock will be back next year.

Dahl will be remembered in Atlanta as a fierce competitor who rose through the ranks with play that was colorfully described elsewhere throughout the league. If the Atlanta offense has had an identity, it's that of a brawly running game. No player contributed more to that rep than did Dahl.

Who steps in? Expect former Alabama guard Mike Johnson to be given a chance to take the spot. You don't spend a third-round pick on a lineman unless you're preparing for him to one day start.

No updated spreadsheet for this one, as I'm typing via phone. Life is hard.
