PHOTO: 2011 Peachtree Road Race T-Shirt

One of the grandest traditions of the Peachtree Road Race: receiving a T-shirt at the end, then making hilarious jokes about the artsiness of said shirt and then wearing it the rest of the day as it seals in the aftereffects of a sweat that it was not itself present for.

And here you can see the four other designs that were in the running. Among those items, this one was definitely the right choice, as that one with the fake runner's tag is the new tuxedo T-shirt. And here's a gallery of the shirts of the '70s, when shirts were shirts. The tradition began one year after the race itself, with the 1971 race the being the first to involve upper body garments at the end for finishers.
