Chamblee HS WR Robert Theus Commits to Georgia State Football

Georgia State turned quite a few heads with the depth of offers and mileage logged on the recruiting trail thus far for the 2012 recruiting cycle.  Coach Bill Curry and staff continue to reap the rewards of this work as they received their fourth verbal committment, according to Rivals.com Keith Niebuhr, in Chamblee HS wide receiver Robert Theus.

Theus is a 6'1, 180lbs wide receiver with very good speed and plays very physical for his size.  He has long arms and very good hands.  He was utilized as a Wildcat quarterback by the Bulldog coaching staff in 2010 but projects as a Y wide receiver in the Panthers offense.  Robert has very good change of direction and agility.

Junior Highlights:

Theus is the first commit from the state of Georgia and joins Dothan HS teammates OG Aaron Thomas, OLB Jordan Peterson and Miramar HS (Florida) OLB Bryan Williams in the growing class.  Georgia State is expected to sign 16-18 players on signing day in February 2012.
