PGA Championship 2011 Odds: Rory McIlroy Is Favorite With Tiger Woods Not Far Behind

Since the 2011 PGA Championship is taking place right in SB Nation Atlanta's backyard over at the Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek, it only makes sense to look at the participating golfers. Currently, the PGA Championship field is filled with all of the likely names including Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods and his new rival Adam Scott along with former Georgia Bulldog Bubba Watson.

McIlroy heads into the Championship as the favorite, according to sports betting website Bodog.com, as the oddsmakers have the Northern Ireland native as a 10-to-1 favorite to take place in the four-day event beginning Thursday. Woods isn't far behind at 20-to-1 while Watson comes in as a 50-to-1 favorite.

Watson isn't the only local listed among the participants, though, as Georgia Tech alumni Stewart Cink and Matt Kuchar will also be participating along with 11 other golfers who lay claim to Georgia as their place of residence including Davis Love III.

For an up-to-date list of those participating, be sure to check the tournament's official website. For more golf, join Waggle Room and visit SB Nation's golf hub.
