PGA Championship Leaderboard, Round 1: Tiger Woods, Bubba Watson Chasing Ross Fisher Early

We're off and running at Atlanta Athletic Club, except running is forbidden at the PGA Championship, so we're walking. Running was highly encouraged at the Towne Lake golf club we used to play at, but we played midnight paintball there so that's probably why.

The leaderboard for Round 1 is starting to take a little bit of a shape, with most of the heavy hitters still yet to take the course. Tiger Woods is looking steady so far, having shot 3-under through five holes. He's tied with Brendan Steele a stroke behind Ross Fisher for the early, early lead. Fisher posted back-to-back birdies twice in his first six holes.

The University of Georgia's Bubba Watson is near the top of the ranks as well, posting a 2-under through four holes. Luke Donald, Steve Stricker and Bill Haas are the other players more than a stroke under par.

Stay tuned for 2011 PGA Championship updates, and head to Waggle Room and SB Nation's golf hub for more on the PGA Tour.
