FSU Prez, Louisville AD Downplay SEC, Big 12 Expansion Rumors

The Palm Beach Post reported the Florida St. Seminoles have been discussing a trip to the SEC with the conference for months now, and that the courtship is heating up. Do courtships heat up? FSU president Eric Barron commented on the news either way, saying he hasn't had any talks about the athletic department leaving the ACC.

If you noted he didn't say others throughout his school haven't had such talks, you get a helmet sticker.

The Louisville Cardinals have been mentioned as a potential Big 12 stopgap or an addition to the SEC in the event that God's Conference goes to 16. U of L athletic director Tom Jurich, however, says he likes the Big East just fine. Would he like it just as much if the nation's premier football conference came calling, or if he got the chance to ... well, to play on the Longhorn Network?

If there's a battle to add Louisville, definitely think the SEC has the upper hand there, but I'm not too sure that there is.
