2012 Georgia State Football Recruiting: Safety Deion Anderson Commits to Panthers

Georgia State football had an unfavorable result in Week 2 on the field but they continue to rock and roll off the field raking in another commit for the 2012 recruiting cycle. According to Street Light Productions, Safety Deion Anderson out of Auburn (Alabama) HS has verbally committed to the Panthers coaching staff.

Anderson is a 6'1, 180lbs free safety prospect with big play ability and willingness to make a huge hit. He is a very good tackler in the secondary and has very good recognition skills as always seems to be around the football. Georgia State is Deion's first public offer to this point. He also has the frame to carry an additional 15-20lbs with college level strength and conditioning.

Junior Highlights:

Deion is the third Alabama high school prospect to commit to Georgia State joining Dothan HS teammates OLB Joseph Peterson and OG Aaron Thomas.  Georgia State is expected to sign 20-22 players next February.
