On Thursday, the No. 8 LSU Tigers will hold their first practice in about three weeks as the team begins preparations for the Chick Fil-A Bowl against the No. 14 Clemson Tigers, according to Les East of The Advocate.
The last practices for LSU came in preparation for the regular season finale against the Arkansas Razorbacks, played on Nov. 23. After that, the focus turned away from football and instead on final academic exams. However, with those now in the past, the Tigers will return to the practice fields to prepare for the other Tigers.
According to East, Les Miles plans on having his team practice every day between Thursday and Dec. 22, with the exception of Sunday, when players will instead meet for senior banquet. After the long stretch of practices, the players will get three days off, including Christmas, before flying to Atlanta on Dec. 26.
The Chick Fil-A Bowl is scheduled to kickoff at 7:30 p.m. ET on Dec. 31.
