Georgia Tech injury report: Isaiah Johnson injury "not good" according to Paul Johnson

Georgia Tech safety Isaiah Johnson missed practice on Monday with an undisclosed injury.

Georgia Tech safety Isaiah Johnson missed Monday's practice with an undisclosed injury according to Ken Suguira of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Georgia Tech head coach Paul Johnson did not say what Johnson injured, but he did say that the injury was "not good" and did not say when he would be able to return to the practice field.

The 6'2 Johnson was one of the leaders on the Georgia Tech defense this year, leading the Yellow Jackets in tackles this season with 87. Johnson added four-and-a-half tackles for loss, a sack and an interception for the Yellow Jackets this year.

If Johnson is unable to play in the Sun Bowl, the Yellow Jackets will turn to Jamal Golden, Chris Milton and Desmond Smith to try and replace Johnson in the Georgia Tech secondary.

In other injury news, offensive tackle Ray Beno is expected to return to practice after having surgery on his finger earlier this month.
