Mercer Vs. Kennesaw State: Bears Lead Owls 32-21 At Halftime

The Mercer Bears Lead the Kennesaw State Owls 32-21 At Halftime in an Atlantic Sun matchup.

The 12-7 Mercer Bears lead the 3-14 Kennesaw State Owls by a score of 32-21 at halftime in University Center. The Bears are coming off a 73-66 win over the USC Upstate Spartans and the Owls are coming off of five losses in a row, their latest being a 73-69 loss to East Tennessee State.

The Bears were led by forward Jakob Gollon and guard Langston Hall, who each scored 11 points. Starters Bud Thomas and Justin Cecil each scored two and Paul Larsen and Travis Smith combined for six points off the bench. The Owls were led by guard Markeith Cummings, who scored eight points so far. Delbert Love scored four points in the first half, Romain Henry scored three and Spencer Dixon added one. Mirza Sabic came off the bench to add five points as well.

The Bears are in second place in the Atlantic Sun Conference with a 4-2 conference record while the Owls are in last place in the conference with an 0-6 conference record.
