After the first half of play, the Atlanta Hawks lead the Toronto Raptors by a score of 56-37 in Air Canada Centre. The Hawks are looking for their third win in a row and their fourth win during a five-game road streak before they return home for four games while the Raptors are looking to build off a win over the Nets on Sunday.
The Hawks were led by shooting guard Joe Johnson, who scored 24 points in the first two quarters. Forward Marvin Williams scored 10 points in the first half, Zaza Pachulia and Jeff Teague both scored six and Josh Smith rounded out the starting lineup by adding four points. Tracy McGrady also came off the bench to add six points.
The Raptors were led by point guard Jerryd Bayless, who scored 12 points against the Hawks. James Johnson, DeMar DeRozan and Jose Calderon each scored four points and Amir Johnson rounded out the starting lineup with two. Linas Kleiza came off the bench to add seven points and Ed Davis added four.
Atlanta is looking to improve their 15-6 record which currently has them sitting in fourth place in the Eastern Conference and in second place in the Southeast Division behind the Miami Heat. The Raptors' 7-14 record has them currently in 12th place in the conference and in last place in Atlantic Division.
