The Georgia Bulldogs are currently ranked No. 6 in the latest BCS ranking projections. They are the fourth-highest ranked team from the SEC, behind the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide, No. 3 LSU Tigers and No. 5 South Carolina Gamecocks.
The rest of the BCS projected top-10 include the No. 2 Oregon Ducks, No. 4 Florida St. Seminoles, No. 7 Notre Dame Fighting Irish, No. 8 Kansas St. Wildcats, No. 9 West Virginia Mountaineers and No. 10 Florida Gators. The only team to drop out of the top-10 from last week was the Stanford Cardinal, falling from No. 5 to No. 14.
The Bulldogs and the Gamecocks will match up against each other on Saturday at Williams-Brice Stadium with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. and the game being broadcast on ESPN. In other SEC action, the Gators will host the Tigers on Saturday at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium with kickoff scheduled for 3:30 p.m. and the game televised on CBS.
