SOCON Football Standings 2012: Georgia Southern tied for 2nd behind Wofford

The Georgia Southern Eagles are currently tied for second in the Southern Conference behind the Wofford Terriers. Where does the rest of the conference stand entering this week's games?

The Georgia Southern Eagles (3-1 overall) enter Saturday's game against the Western Carolina Catamounts (1-4) second in the Southern Conference. The Eagles are in a three way tie with the Samford Bulldogs (4-1) and the Citadel Bulldogs (3-2) behind the first place Wofford Terriers (4-0).

Behind the three-way tie, the Appalachian State Mountaineers (3-2), the Chattanooga Mocs (2-3) and the Furman Paladins (2-3) are tied for fifth. The Elon Phoenix (2-3) are right in front of the Catamounts having lost one less conference game.

The Terriers host the Paladins on Saturday at Gibbs Stadium with kickoff scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
