The Georgia State Panthers will travel north this Saturday to take on the Rhode Island Rams in Meade Stadium, with both teams looking for their first win of the season.
Georgia State has had a rough go of it this season. The Panthers are 0-6 and haven't experienced much success to this point. The games haven't been very close, with the smallest margin of defeat being 21 points when they lost to the Richmond Spiders on Sept. 22.
However, there was a bright spot last week against the New Hampshire Wildcats. Junior wide receiver Albert Wilson made three catches for 105 yards, including two touchdowns.
Rhode Island is 0-5 and hasn't been much more competitive in its affairs. The best game the Rams have played was last weekend against the Brown Bears, when they were defeated 17-7.
Quarterback Bob Bentsen was solid against the Bears despite throwing an interception, completing 22-of-38 passes for 193 yards.
