The Atlanta Hawks suffer their third consecutive preseason loss falling to the Indiana Pacers by a score of 102-98. Atlanta played without Josh Smith and Al Horford who sat things out while Larry Drew used a different starting lineup for the fourth consecutive game.
Lou Williams led the way for Atlanta with 18 points off the bench. Williams was 6-14 from the field but was also 5-6 from the free throw line and also had three assists. Anthony Tolliver got the start at the power forward position and responded with 14 points and five rebounds in 24 minutes of action. Kyle Korver finished with 13 points while Ivan Johnson chipped in 12. Jeff Teague and Devin Harris started in the Atlanta backcourt and finished with 11 points each.
Paul George led all scorers with 20 points while Roy Hibbert recorded a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. D.J. Augustin added 13 points while David West shook off an ankle injury to score 11.
Atlanta has three games remaining on its preseason slate and will be back in action on Thursday at home against New Orleans.
