After finishing No. 8 at Kansas Speedway, Brad Keselowski remained in the NASCAR Chase standings lead with 2250 points. With just four races to go, Keselowski is in the driver seat to close out the season, but Jimmie Johnson remains on his heels and only trails by seven points.
On Saturday, the Chase leader finished with yet another top 10 finish, giving him 20 on the season. Perhaps as importantly, however, was the No. 8 finish in the race was one better than Jimmie Johnson, who finished No. 9.
