NASCAR At Martinsville Qualifying Start Time, TV Info and More

The Sprint Cup Series heads to Martinsville Speedway for the final short track race of the season. Will Brad Kesoloweski remain on top of the Chase standings after carnage and mayhem at the paperclip?

The Sprint Cup Series heads to Martinsville Speedway for the sixth race in the Chase for the Sprint Cup. This is the final short track race of the 2012 campaign.

Qualifying for the Tums Fast Relief 500 at Martinsville will begin at 3:00PM EST. The first practice of the weekend will begin at 12:00 EST.

Brad Kesoloweski continues to lead the Chase standings by seven points over Jimmie Johnson. Denny Hamlin is only 13 points behind Johnson. If Kesoloweski has a poor showing or is involved in an accident, then his points lead is wiped clean.

Clint Bowyer trails Brad Kesoloweski by 25 points in fourth place, Kasey Kahne trails by 30 points in fifth place, Martin Truex Jr trails by 43 points in sixth place, Tony Stewart trails by 47 points in seventh place, Jeff Gordon trails by 51 points in eight place, Matt Kenseth, who won last weekends Hollwyood Casino 400 at Kansas, trails by 55 points in ninth place, Kevin Harvick trails by 59 points in tenth place, and Greg Biffle trails by 62 points in eleventh place.

Dale Earnhardt Jr, who has sat out of the last two Sprint Cup Series races, will make his return this weekend at Martinsville. Earnhardt trails by 122 points in 12th place.
