After two quarters in the preseason finale for the Atlanta Hawks and Detroit Pistons, the home team got out to a strong start as the Pistons lead 55-44 at halftime.
The Hawks made just 37.5 percent of their first half shots, while the Pistons made 60 percent. One player that did shoot well for the Hawks, though, was Kyle Korver as the shooting guard made three-of-three attempted three-pointers to finish the half as the Hawks' leading scorer with nine points.
Leading the scoring for the Pistons in the first half was Tayshaun Prince who finished with 11 points, including one three-pointer. Center Greg Monroe finished the half with the second most on the team, as he tallied nine points.
The Hawks have a 3-3 record in the preseason with each of their three wins coming at home while all three losses came on the road. Similarly, the Pistons have a 3-0 record at home while they have an 0-4 record on the road during the preseason.
