Georgia vs. South Carolina Score: Gamecocks add another touchdown, lead 28-0

The South Carolina Gamecocks extended their lead over the Georgia Bulldogs in the third quarter, with star running back Marcus Lattimore punching it in for a 28-0 lead. Steve Spurrier made a conscious effort to feed Lattimore in the third quarter, going no-huddle and trying to wear out the Georgia defense.

The Dawgs yielded the Lattimore touchdown midway through the third quarter, but the one-yard dive came on the heels of a 62-yard pass from Connor Shaw to D.L. Moore. South Carolina moved it with Lattimore on their next possession, and it looked like they were going for the jugular. But the Georgia defense stopped the drive inside the red zone, and blocked an Adam Yates 33-yard field goal attempt.

But it's still the speed of the Gamecocks defense that's breaking the will of Georgia. Aaron Murray moved the offense past midfield, but the Dawgs once again turned it over on downs to stall out the drive. Murray is just 11-of-29 for 109 yards through the first three quarters, and he'll need to find some magic quickly if Mark Richt's team wants to make it a game.
