Matt Ryan is happy that his Atlanta Falcons are 5-0, but Ryan still believes that the Falcons have plenty of room to improve.
Per the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Ryan is as focused as ever on improving.
"I think the biggest thing for us at this point is to focus on getting better. Although our record is right where we need it to be, I don't think we have played the way we are capable of playing. We certainly want to focus on improving."
Atlanta's offense certainly didn't play up to its capabilities on Sunday. Despite defeating the Washington Redskins 24-17, the Falcons scored just seven points in the first half of play.
Still, the Falcons have the seventh-ranked passing offense in the league. Atlanta's rushing attack is lagging behind, however, as the Falcons average just 94.8 yards per game on the ground -- good for 21st in the NFL.
Ryan and the Falcons' offense will look to improve in Week 6, when they host the Oakland Raiders.
