Hawks Training Camp: Devin Harris, Zaza Pachulia cleared for contact

Devin Harris and Zaza Pachulia took part in contact drills at practice on Tuesday for the first time this preseason.

Devin Harris and Zaza Pachulia were full participants in practice on Tuesday for the first time this preseason. Harris had been slowed by a sore knee while Pachulia was battling a groin injury that he hurt over the summer while playing with the Georgia national team. DeShawn Stevenson sat out the contact portion of practice on Tuesday but Anthony Tolliver returned to action while wearing protective goggles.

Its unlikely that either Pachulia or Harris will play in Wednesday's game against San Antonio and the status of Stevenson and Tolliver is unknown. Drew did say earlier in the week that he hoped to get rookies John Jenkins and Mike Scott some action against the Spurs.

Atlanta played 12 players in the preseason opener against the Heat with Stevenson and Kyle Korver joining Jeff Teague, Al Horford and Josh Smith in the starting lineup. Following that game, Drew said that he would likely switch up his starting lineups during the preseason in an effort to get a look at different combinations.
