There are only two races left in the Sprint Cup Series season and teams want to make the most of whats left in the season. For Kyle Busch and the #18 team, they are making the most out of whats to come this weekend.
Busch won the pole for Sunday's AdvoCare 500 by setting a new track record (138.777 MPH).
Jimmie Johnson, the championship leader heading into Phoenix, had a subpar qualifying effort as he qualified 24th. Brad Kesoloweski, who is battling Johnson for the Sprint Cup, qualified 14th.
Phoenix is going to be the most important race of the season since his will tell us whether or not we are going to have a battle next weekend at Homestead for the Sprint Cup championship.
