The Georgia Southern Eagles are up big over the Howard Bison, 35-13, at halftime. The Eagles jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the first 10 minutes of the game, and have since been trading touchdowns with Howard. They've amassed more than 400 yards of offense, with almost all of them coming on the ground. However, they've allowed more than 300 yards to Howard, which has had more difficulty turning those yards into points.
Quarterback Jerick McKinnon has 191 yards and three touchdowns on the ground, and Dominique Swope has 98 rushing yards on four carries and two touchdowns. McKinnon also has a touchdown pass to Zach Walker.
Greg McGhee is 16-23 for 160 yards for Howard, and also has 72 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Jonathan Booker is leading the team with 66 receiving yards on six receptions, followed by Matt Colvin with 40 yards. Terrence Lefall also has 50 yards rushing for the Bison.
