Georgia Basketball opens play in the Legends Classic with home games against Youngstown State and Southern Mississippi. Both games serve as warmup games for the Bulldogs who will make the trip to Brooklyn next week for the tournament semifinals.
First up for the Bulldogs on Monday is Youngstown State who comes into the game with a 1-0 record after an opening win over George Washington. The Bulldogs won a sloppy effort in their home opener over Jacksonville and will need to do a better job this time around to avoid an upset. Youngstown State features one of the best backcourts in the Horizon league in Kendrick Perry and Blake Allen.
Donte Williams sat out the opener for undisclosed disciplinary reasons. His status for Monday's game still isn't known. Monday's game will tip off at 7pm from Stegeman Coliseum and will be televised nationally on ESPNU.
